I have always loved charm bracelets, but this particular one takes the charm bracelet to a whole new level.  I love the combination of the genuine bee lire coin charm centered around the bees and bee hive motif charms to create a whimsical, yet sophisticated look. The bracelet has a nice weight to it, but is so comfortable to wear.  The best part is that it goes with everything and will never go out of style. 

The Bee Lire is a very special lire coin and one of the most sought after that has been created and I was thrilled that we could get it for you! This coin was introduced in 1953, a few years after the end of the World War 2 to instill hope in the Italian population and was only produced for a few periods after. I love the beautiful setting that we had created especially for you as I wanted it to be worthy of this coin. These are genuine Lire and were legal tender in Italy before they went to the Euro. It is literally carrying a piece of Italy with you and I often wonder what stories it would have if it could talk. The symbolism of the bee and the olive branch, the reason for its introduction, the scarcity and the beauty are only a few of the many reasons it is a treasure.
